PROFESSIONS WITHIN THE PUBLIC GALLERY SECTOR
We are pleased to launch a new series which foregrounds eight roles within the public gallery sector and the people who occupy these specialist positions. In this first edition, we look at the role of Gallery Director and speak with Jason Smith, Director & CEO at Geelong Gallery and Jessica Bridgfoot, Director at Bendigo Art Gallery. Learn about their career pathways, the challenges inherent in their roles, and what they identify as the key issues facing the public gallery sector.
