Become a PGAV member and enjoy a wealth of benefits, including invitations to exclusive networking events and discounted entry to professional development programs. In addition, your support will help us to build the capacity of public galleries in Victoria – enhancing their ability to deliver valuable cultural, social and economic returns to their communities.
The PGAV offers two categories of membership: PGAV Member is for public galleries located in Victoria, while PGAV Supporter is for individuals and organisations located anywhere in Australia that want to engage with the public gallery sector in Victoria.
This category of membership is open to not-for-profit public galleries located in Victoria. Membership is by application, with applications assessed by the PGAV Board.

PGAV Member Eligibility Requirements
- Art gallery, art museum or contemporary art space, located in Victoria.
- Non-profit and legally constituted.
- Professionally and permanently staffed.

Galleries are encouraged to contact the PGAV prior submitting an application.

*Fees are due annually on 1 July. New members are charged a pro-rata rate for the first year, then the full amount in subsequent years.
