COVID-19 UPDATE: INFORMATION FOR VISITORS ATTENDING PUBLIC GALLERIES
Public Galleries in metropolitan Melbourne and Mildura Rural City Council remain closed due to current restrictions.
Public Galleries in regional Victoria (except Mildura Rural City Council) are permitted to open subject to a range of COVID Safe requirements.
We recommend visiting member gallery websites here before you visit to check that they are open and to learn about COVID Safe protocols ahead of your visit, or to explore their online offerings.

VACCINATED ECONOMY: Victoria is moving to a Vaccinated Economy as part of Victoria’s Roadmap to Delivering the National Plan. Significant parts of the economy will reopen to the fully vaccinated.
For galleries in regional Victoria, the Vaccinated Economy will begin when the 70% double dose vaccination threshold is met (from 11:59pm Thursday 21 October).
In metropolitan Melbourne, the Vaccinated Economy will begin at galleries when the 80% double dose vaccination threshold is met (approximately 5 November).

The Public Galleries Association of Victoria (PGAV) acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the lands where our office is located, and all Traditional Owners of country throughout Victoria and Australia. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s enduring traditions and continuing creative cultures. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
