We are very saddened to learn sculptor Matthew Harding died on Thursday 22 February 2018. Best known for his large-scale public art, Matthew had a wide-ranging practice that spanned sculpture, furniture and design. He was awarded the McClelland Gallery+Sculpture Park Sculpture Award in 2014 with his work "Void".
Harding is survived by his partner Freya and four young children. The local community in Trentham have set up a GoFundMe page to support Harding's family - www.gofundme.com/fund-for-freya
