Monash Gallery of Art appoints new Gallery Director and Chair

Monash Gallery of Art has announced the appointment of Anouska Phizacklea as Gallery Director and Natasha Bowness as Chair of the MGA Committee of Management. Anouska joins MGA from Heide Museum of Modern Art, where she held the role of Finance, Business and HR Manager and is a member of the Senior Executive Team. Previous roles include Finance and Operations Manager at the Australian Centre of Contemporary Art (ACCA) and working in art research and valuations at Nevill Keating McIlroy and galleries and auction houses in London. Anouska will start in July 2017. Natasha has significant experience in commerce, philanthropy, the arts and the not for profit sector. She is on the Board of Wilbow Group and Zoos Victoria and is President of Annual Giving for the Australian Ballet and Chair of the Bowness Family Foundation.
