Horsham Regional Art Gallery has announced Jane Scott as its new Director. Jane will be part of the newly established team at the Horsham Town Hall facility.
Jane is joining the Gallery team with a depth and wealth of experience in the visual arts sector. Jane’s impressive background includes three years as CEO & Artistic Director of Craft Victoria; a past Executive Director of Regional Arts Australia; Director of TarraWarra Museum of Art from 2009-2011; Director of the Cultural Relations Embassy of Australia in Washington DC; past Director of the Monash Gallery of Art and a Senior Curator of the Access Gallery at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Jane is very much looking forward to working in the region and has curated over 15 major exhibitions and coordinated over 100 exhibitions in traditional and alternative exhibition spaces. She also has extensive experience in managing staff and volunteers.
The Public Galleries Association of Victoria (PGAV) acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the lands where our office is located, and all Traditional Owners of country throughout Victoria and Australia.
