Congratulations to Hamilton Gallery and Southern Grampians Shire Council on the opening of EMERGING FROM DARKNESS: Faith, Emotion and the Body in the Baroque. Emerging Gundiitjmara leader
Stacey Charles welcomed everyone to country. Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos MP spoke of the importance of this exhibtiion to the people of Hamilton - from the visitor economy to the opportunity to access significant exhibitions close to home. These sentiments were echoed by Mayor, David Robertson, NGV Deputy Director, Andrew Clark and Hamilton Gallery Director, Joshua White.

The exhibition was developed in partnership with National Gallery of Victoria and supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria and the
