Federal Minister for the Arts visits the Duldig Studio

Tuesday March 2nd, 2021

The Federal Minister for the Arts The Hon. Mr Paul Fletcher MP and Dr Katie Allen – Member for Higgins, visited Duldig Studio to explore the museum and its collection with a focus on two significant items – sitting room chairs commissioned by Slawa Duldig, designed and made in Vienna by Sigmund Jaray in the early 1930s. These modernist chairs were recently restored with funds from the National Library of Australia’s Community Heritage Grant Program, funded by the Australian Government, and are key items in the Duldig Studio collection.
