Changes to the Creative Victoria leadership team

Monday March 18th, 2019

Creative Victoria's recruitment process for a new Chief Executive has come full circle to appointments within the organisation.

Jane Crawley, Director, Arts investment and Max Coffman, Director, Agencies & Infrastructure have both been elevated to the role of Executive Director, each expanding their area of responsibility and taking on significant duties of the Chief Executive role. Andrew Abbott will remain as Chief Executive, Creative Victoria, with the legislative responsibilities assigned to that role, in addition to his broader remit as Deputy Secretary, Creative, Sport and Visitor Economy.

Jane takes on the role of Executive Director, Creative Industries, with primary responsibility for the non-government sector as well as strategy, while Max takes on the role of Executive Director, Governance and Infrastructure, with a focus on the state-owned agencies and assets, governance and corporate services.

The leadership team will be rounded out with Michael Hudson, Director, Strategy Screen and Design and Linda Fleet as Director, Strategic Marketing and Communications.
