Latest ABS research reveals that almost one in five Australians (4.3 million people) reported living with a disability. Around 15% of the population (3.7 million Australians) were aged 65 and over in 2016. Australians also identify with more than 270 ancestries, with over a quarter of the population born overseas. This short workshop will provide insight into designing programs to engage a diverse audience, including artists and visitors with a disability, older people, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
