Linda Shaw | Visage

28 Mar 2025 – 3 May 2025

“Much of my work tends to blur the line between figuration and abstraction. I am very interested in what happens at that intersection. Most of my recent work has begun with abstraction and the figurative elements have then been integrated into the work through successive layers.

I prefer to allow each piece to evolve until a particular direction or idea begins to emerge. Working in layers where each successive layer interacts with the one before, allows for unpredictable results. As an artist, it is an approach that shifts the focus away from the destination to the journey.”

- Linda Shaw, 2025
