Artist: Suganya Kannan
Layers of Perception invites viewers to experience art beyond sight, engaging both vision and touch. Using acrylics, high-flow mediums, and textured elements these works capture the ever-changing beauty of coastlines, organic forms, and natural landscapes. Fluid blues and earthy tones merge with bold contrasts and gold accents, balancing tranquillity with energy. Each piece invites interaction, shifting perception through depth, movement, and sensory exploration. This collection is an invitation - to feel, connect, and experience art in a new dimension.
About the artist
Art has been a part of Suganya’s life since childhood, allowing her to explore creativity and expression in many forms. She always dreamed of exhibiting her work in a gallery, a space where her art could connect with others. Though her career took her in different directions, her passion for painting never faded. After moving to Australia in 2016, she found renewed inspiration in the landscapes around her, drawn to colour, texture, and movement. This exhibition marks the fulfilment of a long-held vision, with layered textures, fluid forms, and bold contrasts that evoke emotion and invite exploration.
