You Are Here: Melbourne Memoryscapes

2 Oct 2025 – 6 Feb 2026

Curated by Angela Bailey, You Are Here considers a collection of 1960s black-and-white aerial photographs of naarm/Melbourne and its immediate surrounds. Originally used as a mapping, surveying device, the exhibition reconsiders these images in relation to memory, place and connection. These ideas are further explored through the accompanying verse of writer Susie Anderson (Wergaia and Wemba Wemba), whose words navigate the boundaries set upon the landscape.
