Join Claire Bown, author of The Art Engager, for an interactive two-hour workshop exploring what makes gallery programs engaging, memorable and meaningful. Designed for those who create and deliver gallery experiences, this session introduces key ideas from the Thinking Museum® Approach and invites participants to reflect on their facilitation practice and the experiences they create for audiences.
Together, we will consider how facilitation skills, shared inquiry and intentional choices can transform how audiences connect with artworks and ideas. Through practical exercises and slow-looking activities, participants will experience ways to encourage curiosity, connection and shared discovery.
Who should attend:
This workshop offers inspiration and practical strategies for gallery educators, public programmers, curators and staff involved in developing, delivering or supporting learning and engagement programs.
Limited to 30 places. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Cost: PGAV Members $275 (inc GST) / Non-Members $450 (inc GST)
