States of Being

6 Jul 2026 – 11 Sep 2026

States of Being brings together 13 Hume-based artists exploring the depth of experiences that shape what it is to be human. Spanning portraiture, figurative works and personal reflections, the exhibition captures moments of presence, emotion, identity and connection across cultures, generations and lived experiences.

Through painting, drawing and mixed media, the artists offer intimate glimpses into inner worlds and shared realities, from quiet moments of contemplation to expressions of resilience, vulnerability and joy. Together, the works form a powerful and diverse collection that reflects the many ways we see ourselves and one another.
