Material Specialty sessions: Picture frames

The session will provide a broad overview of collection care for picture frames in gallery collections, including handling, display, storage and maintenance. Holly McGowan-Jackson, Senior Conservator of Frames and Furniture will discuss the significance of frames, common frame styles found in gallery collections and will outline the work of the NGV Centre for Frame Research.
