Planning for the management and care of collections is a crucial aspect of a gallery redevelopment. NGV’s Associate Director of Conservation Michael Varcoe-Cocks and Conservation Project Officer Jessica Lehmann will outline considerations when planning for a redevelopment - from pre-design briefings, setting objectives, risk planning and environmental considerations to managing costs and budgets.
