PGAV Equity and Action Plan 2025-28

Monday December 23rd, 2024

As part of our commitment to addressing barriers and ensuring equitable access to public galleries across Victoria, PGAV is proud to release our inaugural PGAV Equity Action Plan 2025-28.

The Plan was adopted by the PGAV Board on 1 November 2024. The Plan is the outcome of PGAV staff taking part in the Fair Play: Regional Victoria program delivered by Diversity Arts Australia and funded by Creative Victoria. It sets out clear, measurable and meaningful actions and outcomes across the following key areas: Governance - policy, leadership, employment; Capacity Building - training and programming; and Engagement - community consultation, marketing and promotion.

The next four years will see PGAV deliver on a range of short-term and long-term actions to remove barriers to access and ensure Victoria’s public galleries are welcoming and accessible to the whole community.
