- Establishing HR processes and systems for a newly opened regional museum, including development of Employee Value Proposition (benefits to employees) program to improve engagement levels and employee retention.
- Working with the Director of a Museum to review the organisational structure and develop a board paper to gain approval for a new and expanded organisational structure. This included developing and updating position descriptions, gaining salary market data.
- Assisting museums / galleries with challenging team members, including managing poor performance, casual conversion, bullying situations, managing neurodiversity to name a few. Individual tailored approaches were required, involving the guiding and coaching of managers to resolve issues without causing further disruption.
- Assisting with board reporting, including employee engagement scores, staff turnover figures, exit interview reports.
- HR audit to determine gaps in compliance with employment law and developing an action plan to address noncompliance.
