Material Specialty Session: Time-based media
Time based media, which includes film, born-digital and performative works, present unique challenges for collection care within the gallery setting. These works require multi-disciplinary skill sets, from the technical to the conceptual, to exhibit and preserve. Join James Power, Senior Multimedia Technician and Manon Mikolaitis, Conservation Project Officer, as they discuss preservation considerations from point of acquisition through to exhibition display and long-term storage of this rapidly evolving specialty.

The session will include an NGV presentation followed by group discussion and Q&A. If there are any topics you would like covered, please flag when registering for the webinar.

COST
PGAV Members & Supporter Members: $22 per session or $110 for a Webinar Series Pass (Six sessions / access to recordings).*
Non-Members: $33 per session or $165 for a Webinar Series Pass (Six sessions / access to recordings).*

*Each Ticket or Webinar Series Pass admits one person - please purchase additional tickets or series passes for each person attending. 
An organisation can purchase a Webinar Series Pass to share between multiple staff - in this instance please indicate the names of those staff attending when booking (up to six people across the six sessions). Contact the PGAV if you would like to purchase a bespoke Organisation Pass to enable multiple staff to attend multiple sessions.

RECORDING
All sessions will be recorded and made available with closed captions after the event. Only ticket holders will be able to access the recording. If you are unable to attend on the day but would like to access the recording please purchase a ticket. 

REGISTRATION
All sessions will be delivered online via ZOOM. 
Registrations close 12noon, Thursday 13 October 2022.
Within 24 hours of payment you will receive an email from Zoom with a link to join the session.
