Linden New Art is a leading contemporary public art gallery. Linden is a place where people can see and learn more about contemporary art in an informal and friendly environment. Visit the Linden New Art website to find out more about the range of Events that we provide.

Our mission is to be a centre of excellence for contemporary art.

To achieve our mission, our strategic goals include:

  • Exhibit quality new contemporary art by mid-career artists
  • Support and mentor artists engaged with Linden
  • Connect with our community by providing exhibitions, education and public programs
  • Operate a well governed, managed and sustainable organisation.
Getting to the Gallery

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There are tram and bus stops nearby on the Acland and Fitzroy Street shopping precincts.

BUSES: 600, 606, 623, 246

PARKING
There is limited 1.5 hour & all day parking on Acland Street.
Paid parking is available nearby at the Prince of Wales Hotel, the Palais Theatre and on Belford Street West (off Acland Street).

Accessibility

Linden Projects Space is a located at the rear of the building and is not wheelchair accessible.
