Launch of PGAV Limited-Edition Print by Emily Floyd & End of Year Celebration

You are invited to a special PGAV end of year celebration to launch our inaugural Limited-Edition Print by Melbourne based artist Emily Floyd.

Enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival, followed by PGAV President Jason Smith in conversation with Emily Floyd and the unveiling of the Limited-Edition Print, before catching up with colleagues over drinks and canapés.

Emily Floyd’s Limited-Edition Print can be purchased at the event. All proceeds from the sale of the print will support PGAV’s advocacy, programs and services to build the capacity of the public gallery sector in Victoria.

PGAV acknowledges the support of Anna Schwartz Gallery.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Emily Floyd is one of Australia’s preeminent visual artists, working in sculpture, printmaking and public installation. Her work engages a wide range of disciplines including social activism, design and typography, literature and cultural studies, community participation and public education.

Emily Floyd is represented by Anna Schwartz Gallery.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Ticket holders that are no longer able to attend may nominate a substitute up until 12pm, Tuesday 10 December 2024 - note special dietary requirement may not be able to be accommodated. You must notify the PGAV of substitutions and cancellations by email: lucy.whitehill@pgav.ngv.vic.gov.au.

  • Cancellations received before 12pm, Wednesday 4 December 2024 will be refunded.

  • Cancellations received after 12pm, Wednesday 4 December 2024 are not refundable.

  • Exceptions are at the discretion of the PGAV.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographs and/or video footage will be taken at the PGAV End of Year Celebration. Photos and videos taken at this event will be used to promote the PGAV and its work. This includes publishing images on the PGAV website, social media channels, print publications and other marketing materials.

If you would prefer not to be photographed, or have photographs in which you are featured published, please let us know by emailing lucy.whitehill@pgav.ngv.vic.gov.au, or speak with a PGAV staff member at the event. 

GETTING TO THE GALLERY
Geelong Gallery is located in Johnstone Park. The entrance is in Little Malop Street, in Geelong’s cultural precinct.

Travelling by train: 
You can travel via V/Line train from Melbourne to Geelong. You can use the PTV Journey Planner to plan your trip.
Geelong Gallery is a three–minute walk through Johnstone Park from Geelong Railway Station.
You can use a Myki and the daily fare capped at $10 or $5 for concession.

Travelling by car: 60 minutes from Melbourne CBD. 

Car parking: There are various parking options in central Geelong, please see the available street parking options at geelongaustralia.com.au/parking.
