John Nixon: Song of the Earth 1968–2020

22 Nov 2025 – 15 Mar 2026

Song of the Earth is the first major survey of the work of distinguished and influential Australian artist John Nixon (1949–2020), spanning his diverse mediums and exploring both the poetic and formal aspects of his art. Nixon is renowned for his energetic commitment to abstraction and his unwavering spirit of experimentation and dynamic engagement with radical modernism.
