A tonal realist oil painter who works exclusively from life, Gregory R. Smith VAS FVAS has accumulated many years of experience through both studio and outdoor studies as well as teaching for more than 35 years. This year marks his 50th solo exhibition, inspiring the title Time Leaves Its Mark.
Gregory regards all of his artwork as an investigation of visual truth, whether through a quick en plein air study or the patient observation of a still life. This exhibition hosts over 120 paintings all painted within the last 12 months. This exhibition invites you to share in Gregory's artistic journey so far.
