GOING GREEN - Putting policies and procedures into practice
The Institute of Community Directors Australia have prepared this help sheet to support green transition for the not-for-profit sector in Australia.
This help sheet details hundreds of initiatives across ten areas of operation, including a step-by-step guide on what to do first, how to get up to standard, and where you should aim for once you're there. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it's a good place to start.
These are also a series of reflective questions aimed at leaders in the community and not-for-profit sector. Taking a stance on climate action can lead to some challenging conversations, and the questions are aimed at helping you maintain positive momentum when faced with resistance.
