Fibre

5 Sep 2024 – 6 Feb 2025

Fibre showcases the diverse artistic expressions of First Nations artists from the City of Greater Bendigo region. These artists blend traditional and non-traditional techniques, including cordage, coiling, traditional and random weaving, and the storing and dyeing of plant fibres, to create unique fibre art pieces. The exhibition features an array of woven objects, recycled materials, possum skins, baskets, and wall hangings.
