Docuvan focus on scanning solutions! We can help Galleries image most of their art collection with our state of the art WideTEK 36 Art Scanner.  Some wonderful treasures which have been held in galleries, largely unseen can then be displayed on the Gallery Web Site to help attract potential vistors as well offer a quality image for archival purposes.  We can scan artwork under glass and in a frame without removal up to 36" wide and 60" long using 3D lighting techniques. The WideTEK Scanner represents a revolution in digitising cultural collections.

RECENT PROJECTS

During the Creative Victoria Digitisation Roadshow in April to July 2019, both the Benalla Art Gallery and Latrobe Regional Gallery rented the WideTEK 36 Art Scanner from Docuvan for 4 to 6 weeks each and managed to scan most of their collections. The rental included delivery, installation and then training for Gallery Staff. Docuvan also provided backup support for their project timelines.

Bryony Nainby (former Director at from Benalla Regional Gallery, now at Craft - director@craft.org.au) and Anton Vardy (anton.vardy@latrobe.vic.gov.au) from Latrobe Regional Gallery are happy to offer feedback to any other galleries that are interested in this type of project.
