The study uncovers persisting and emerging challenges artists and cultural professionals face and examines how countries around the world are addressing these issues through policymaking.

Highlighted in the study - a) dignified working conditions are far from reality (including gender imbalance) and b) the need for the cultural sector to work together to fairly compensate creative labour.
