Audience Outlook Monitor: Snapshot Report - March 2021

The March edition of Audience Outlook Monitor points to a resurgence in arts and culture attendance across the country, with 7 in 10 audiences now attending in-person. The March edition also reveals the risk of lockdowns and cancelled events remains a concern for audiences - ensuring ticketing and cancellation policies are well communicated will be essential for helping audiences make plans. What impact is the return of audiences to galleries having on digital engagement? 70% of audiences surveyed intend to continue online engagement with galleries, with 64% of gallery audiences accessing online content through an email from the gallery, 39% via a recommendation by a friend, and 33% through a feed on their social media.
