Artz Blitz is an annual 24-hour creative writing and visual arts competition that invites participants of all ages and abilities to dive into a vibrant celebration of artistic expression. Kingston Arts is delighted to present the submissions from the 2025 Artz Blitz competition, where participants raced against the clock to make and submit a creative work based on a secret theme in a 24-hour window.
See how the community interpreted the Artz Blitz 2025 theme of 'love yourself' in their diverse and dynamic works, with prizes awarded across the categories of visual art, poetry and creative writing.
Award Ceremony and Exhibition Opening Event
Celebrate Artz Blitz 2025 and see the prize winners announced Thursday 6 March 2025, 6:30pm at Kingston City Hall. After the ceremony, attendees can view the Artz Blitz Exhibition in the G1 + G2 Galleries. This is a free event.
