Antiqueanism

24 May 2025 – 21 Sep 2025

Inspired by ancient Egyptian symbolism and modern aesthetics, Antiqueanism is a new art movement envisioned by Rasha Wanase- RW. It reimagines classical motifs through contemporary abstract expression, honouring the past while shaping a bold narrative of the future. The exhibition includes energetically worked watercolour paintings and low-relief surfaces on canvas sculpted from diverse materials, with gold, as a symbol of timelessness and value, shining throughout the gallery space.

Rasha Wanase: Biography
Egyptian artist and founder of Antiqueanism, Rasha Wanase-RW blends ancient Egyptian symbolism with abstract sculpture. Exhibiting globally since 2001, her Mediterranean roots and passion for Egyptology reflected through works which fuse history, innovation, and contemporary expression into paintings, low-relief wall works and sculptures.
