EXHIBITION HEIDE Albert Tucker and Maria Kontis

Albert Tucker and Maria Kontis

6 Sep 2025 – 23 Feb 2026

Reimagining modernist artist Albert Tucker’s intimate and historic photographs of his social milieu in the 1930s and 40s, Maria Kontis subtly reworks these fragments of time as a new series of drawings and sculptural forms.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body, and by the Albert and Barbara Tucker Foundation.
