Join colleagues and sector peers for a full day at SAM, beginning with morning tea overlooking the lake, followed by the AGM, lunch by Elsewhere at SAM, and an afternoon forum exploring the opportunities and challenges of delivering blockbuster exhibitions.
The day will also include a viewing of Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the SAM collection.
Sector forum - a panel of sector leaders will share candid insights into what it takes to develop, secure and deliver a major exhibition.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT (From Melbourne)
A 5.57am train departs Melbourne and arrives in Shepparton at 8.40am, or a 7.05am train departs Melbourne, connecting at Seymour with a bus to Shepparton and arriving at 10.01am. Plan your trip via PTV.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Registered participants that are no longer able to attend may nominate a substitute up until 2pm, Wednesday 10 June 2026 - note special dietary requirement may not be able to be accommodated. You must notify the PGAV of substitutions and cancellations by email: anne.robertson@pgav.ngv.vic.gov.au.
- Cancellations received before 5pm, Thursday 5 June 2026 will be refunded.
- Cancellations received after 5pm, Thursday 5 June 2026 are not refundable.
- Exceptions are at the discretion of the PGAV.
EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY:
Photographs and/or video footage will be taken at the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM). Photos and videos will be used to promote the PGAV and its work. This includes publishing images on the PGAV website, social media channels, print publications and other marketing materials.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, or have photographs in which you are featured published, please let us know by emailing anne.robertson@pgav.ngv.vic.gov.au, or speak with a PGAV staff member at the event.
