Spatial Murmuration: Britt Salt

11 Jul 2024 – 14 Oct 2024

Britt Salt’s work spans tapestry, drawing, sculpture, installation, and public art, characterized by complex yet minimal forms that explore site-specific and imagined architectures.

Her intuitive geometry and handcrafted methods delve into order within various spaces. Exhibited widely across prestigious galleries, Salt has earned numerous awards and scholarships. She holds advanced degrees from VCA and Curtin University.

Salt’s "Spatial Murmuration" exhibition challenges visual perception through meticulous weaving, drawing, and sculpture, inviting viewers to uncover hidden details in built environments. Her art emphasizes human imperfections and the meditative process of creation, exploring how we navigate and orient ourselves in changing spaces.

Her works are part of collections like Wangaratta Art Gallery and Artbank, with recent recognition from the Fiona Myer White Story Residency 2024.
