Material Specialty Session: Fashion-based collections
The session will provide a broad overview of collection care for fashion based works in the gallery setting. Looking at the display and storage of fashion and accessory works in the NGV collection, Skye Firth, Senior Conservator of Textiles and Ellen Doyle, Textile Display Specialist will discuss mannequin and accessory choice, exhibition display and support tips and techniques and review long-term storage methods.

The session will include an NGV presentation followed by group discussion and Q&A. If there are any topics you would like covered, please flag when registering for the webinar.
COST
PGAV Members & Supporter Members: $22 per session or $110 for a Webinar Series Pass (Six sessions / access to recordings).*
Non-Members: $33 per session or $165 for a Webinar Series Pass (Six sessions / access to recordings).*
*Each Ticket or Webinar Series Pass admits one person - please purchase additional tickets or series passes for each person attending.
An organisation can purchase a Webinar Series Pass to share between multiple staff - in this instance please indicate the names of those staff attending when booking (up to six people across the six sessions). Contact the PGAV if you would like to purchase a bespoke Organisation Pass to enable multiple staff to attend multiple sessions.
RECORDING
All sessions will be recorded and made available with closed captions after the event. Only ticket holders will be able to access the recording. If you are unable to attend on the day but would like to access the recording please purchase a ticket.
REGISTRATION
All sessions will be delivered online via ZOOM.
