Luci Callipari-Marcuzzo is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, writer, and researcher with over 28 years at Mildura Arts Centre. In her current role as Gallery and Heritage Team Leader, she oversees the delivery of exhibitions, education initiatives, public programs, community engagement, and collection management.

Throughout her career, Luci has developed strong professional networks across the museum and gallery sector, working in collaboration with artists, curators, community leaders, and philanthropic supporters. Her qualifications in visual arts, museum studies, and project management inform a strategic and community-focused approach to cultural leadership.

Luci is committed to enhancing Mildura Arts Centre’s capacity to support and mentor artists and creatives, to present the work of the region’s diverse communities, and to care for and promote the renowned Mildura Arts Centre Collection.

A published writer, Luci contributes to discourse in the visual arts and academia through essays, articles and research. She has also held advisory and leadership roles with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association (AMaGA) Education Network and Education Network Victoria (ENVi) and served as a peer assessor for Creative Victoria.

As an exhibiting artist, Luci’s work has been shown nationally and internationally and is a strong advocate for regional arts and artists. Luci is also a founding member of Ascolta Women Inc., a collective of intergenerational Italian women creatives from across Australian and beyond.

Luci is proud to serve on the PGAV Board and is committed to supporting its mission to strengthen and promote the cultural, social, and economic value of public galleries across Victoria.
