Gods, Myths & Mortals brings 8,000 years of Greek civilisation to Melbourne. Over 200 objects trace the development of tools and technology to the expansion of trade; the role of myth as a means to understand the world; the maintenance of identity during foreign rule and the emergence of the modern Greek state. This remarkable collection is on loan from the Benaki Museum, Athens, and is on display at the Hellenic Museum until 2024.
