Danny is currently Artistic Director at Shepparton Art Museum (SAM). SAM has transformed the landscape of regional art museums since opening its $50 million new building in 2021 and is recognised for its significant Australian ceramics collection, and nationally significant collection of Indigenous art.

Over the past 25 years Danny has had an active curatorial practice within a range of Victorian based public galleries, most recently as Director at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery. Previous positions have included Director at West Space, Curator at Shepparton Art Museum, Program Administrator at Monash University Museum of Art and Installation & Project Co-ordinator at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. He completed a MA (Visual Culture) from Monash University and has undertaken an Asialink Arts Management residency in Singapore.
