Cypriot Pottery of the Bronze and Iron Ages

Back

This collection of 48 well-preserved pieces ranges from simple bowls and jugs to large-scale storage and funerary amphora, and provides insights into the materials, culture and lifestyle of the ancient Cypriots. The collection, on loan from Peter and Mary Mitrakas, has been curated to trace three distinct periods of Cypriot history: the Bronze Age, Geometric Period and Archaic Period.
