His elaborate works reflect a fascination with light, cosmology, science and music, as well as a desire for sensation and beauty.
Always ready to discover new ways of expression, Bilu’s use of unconventional media and techniques can sometimes blur the boundaries between painting, sculpture and installation. Covering the first two decades of his art practice, the exhibition provides an ambitious overview of this seminal period in Bilu’s career during which he achieved much critical success.
