Andrew Tetzlaff is the Senior Curator at RMIT Culture where he is responsible for programming of RMIT Gallery, RMIT First Site Gallery, RMIT Design Hub Gallery and RMIT Culture’s Creative Residencies.

Andrew has a long history of working in tertiary education, international project development and grass-roots cultural organisations. He is a practice-based researcher who has curated and collaboratively produced over 100 exhibitions and cultural projects. As an academic, he has lectured in the university’s art and art-enterprise courses and has presented and written critically on contemporary art and curation.

From 2008 to 2017 Andrew served on the board of BLINDSIDE, an artist-run initiative located in the heart of Melbourne. At BLINDSIDE he championed young and emerging practice and opened up a range of opportunities and stepping stones for artists who make in progressive, innovative and unconventional ways. 

Andrew holds a Master of Fine Art from the RMIT University and recently completed a PhD by practice.
