Celebrating its 16th year in 2023, 9 by 5 commemorates the original exhibition held in Melbourne in 1889. Featuring artists Tom Roberts, Charles Conder, Arthur Streeton and Frederick McCubbin who produced uniform artwork on nine by five inch cigar box lids.
Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre's adaptation has now become a nationally recognised exhibition that celebrates diversity within the arts community, proving that small things can have a big impact.
Artists from all skill levels and locations across Australia are invited to once again present their creativity in this well loved art event. Read below to find out how to register.
