About us
The Public Art Galleries Association of Victoria represents and supports over 50 public art galleries across Victoria.
This network includes university galleries, art museums and contemporary art spaces in metropolitan and regional Victoria.
We promote communication and information exchange between members and other peak bodies.
We organise forums, workshops, social occasions and other opportunities for networking.
We liaise with major funding and other peak bodies.
We promote the public gallery network.
The PGAV also administers the Robert Salzer Foundation grants for major acquisitions. Currently this Fund supports elligible PGAV galleries to the value of $80,000 per annum.
A members-only online forum enables members to promote programmes, share and seek information.
